Excerpts from a VERY EARLY
DIARY (of sorts) of DANIEL JOHNSTON.
A very old "Gardener's Diary"
provided blank pages for it's owner to record a year's progress in their
garden.
Daniel and some of his
siblings found this as a place to write a few things down, apparently done
sporadically beginning around 1955 (his oldest sister) until Daniel used it
- probably from 1968 through about 1978.
Most of Daniel's entries are
artistic scribbles, but there are some highly reflective personal diary
entries.
