A rich man and a poor man stood face to
face
the poor man said to the rich man can I have a
piece of cake
The rich man just laughed and threw his dog the
crumbs
and the poor man stood hungry as the rich man's
dog ate
The rich man died and went to hell
and the poor man died and went to heaven
And the rich man cried a night in pain
can I have a drink of water I'm going in an
everlasting plain
The poor man stood ashore and sighed
there was no way to get to the other side
The rich man bit his lip and cried
he said I wish my soul could die
Well the rich man's dog died and went to
heaven
because he was just a stupid animal he didn't
know wrong from right

Well the poor man and the rich man's dog
sat eating cake
with chocolate ice cream and soilent stake
And the rich man said for heaven's sake
and his skin burned in a fire lake
The rich man said maybe I was wrong
I guess I was just a low life scum

I wish I had been a better man
he sat wishing
